Kaoru Yagi (八木 薫, Yagi Kaoru) is a member of the broadcasting club who is best known for her ability to maintain a straight face during any situation. Previously, Yoshimura framed her as a result of her finding a DVD of test answers he had recorded, but the Sket Dan investigated and resolved her of all charges.

Yagi has shoulder-length dark-brown hair that has bangs swept to the left side and light brown eyes.
In addition to her Kaimei school uniform, she wears blue glasses.
Personality[]
Yagi is a reserved and stoic girl who is very blunt about certain topics. She usually has a straight face and can hardly be read. She rarely smiles, but she did smile in one instance when the SKET Dan solved the case of the DVD with the test questions. [1]
Backstory[]
During Yagi's freshman year, she was suspected of cheating on her mid-term test. Although she tried denying it, no one would believe her. However, this was just a rumour with no basis or proof but it still hurt Yagi and caused her to be afraid of everyone who would talk behind her back.

Yagi and Ayumi are good friends who are often seen together as they are always shopping at a certain place, which was never directly mentioned whenever the Sket Dan bumps into them.[2]
Etymology[]
- The name Kaoru means "fragrance, fragrant" (薫).
- Kaoru's surname Yagi means "eight" (八) (ya) and "tree, wood" (木) (ki/gi).
